Your brain is actually wired up to keep you from any new behavior. What?! Yes. This is why healthy new habits (and New Year's Resolutions!) are so hard to keep up. I am a firm believer that making meditation habitual is even harder. But only because most of us don't know how to win the private battles in our mind. In this episode, we will go over just what to do when one of these three hindrances shows up during our meditation and how to finally WIN and meditate anyway! Don't let these three bullies creep up during your meditation and trick you into falling back into your old bad habits or keep you from the cushion.
Today's focus is Time.
Do these thoughts sound familiar? “How long have I been sitting here?,” “How much longer until I can stop?” Or “I don’t have time to meditate!” After this episode, you’ll know just what to do to get your butt back on the cushion and keep returning time and time again!
In this episode we will learn: ~How your ego uses the concept of time to get you to stop meditating.
~How to get thoughts about time to quiet during your meditation as well as off the cushion

It knows that you value time more than any other thing and it will use your worries about time to get you to stop meditating. You need to be ready for this, once you notice that’s it’s just your ego trying to get you to stop, you get the upper hand and a daily practice becomes so much easier.”
