Throughout this very difficult year, the one word that has sustained us has been the word “hope.” It is the most precious of all human emotions, allowing our faith to believe that at any moment the God we serve will make Himself known, fulfilling our expectations. The season of Advent is that moment! It is our confirmation that God has heard our prayers and is giving us His only begotten Son, our Savior, who is Christ the Lord! Our hope has not been in vain. In these four weeks leading up to Christmas, our sermon series – Hope Revealed – will examine God’s promise, presence and purpose, culminating in the person of Jesus Christ!
