Génesis 2: Un Sólo Ser.

Génesis 2 RVA2015:
15 "Tomó, pues, el SEÑOR Dios al hombre y lo puso en el jardín de Edén, para que lo cultivara y lo guardara. 16 Y el SEÑOR Dios mandó al hombre diciendo: “Puedes comer de todos los árboles del jardín; 17 pero del árbol del conocimiento del bien y del mal no comerás, porque el día que comas de él, ciertamente morirás”.
18 Dijo además el SEÑOR Dios: “No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; le haré una ayuda idónea”. 19 El SEÑOR Dios, pues, formó de la tierra todos los animales del campo y todas las aves del cielo, y los trajo al hombre para ver cómo los llamaría. Lo que el hombre llamó a los animales, ese es su nombre. 20 El hombre puso nombres a todo el ganado, a las aves del cielo y a todos los animales del campo. Pero para Adán no halló ayuda que le fuera idónea.
21 Entonces el SEÑOR Dios hizo que sobre el hombre cayera un sueño profundo; y mientras dormía, tomó una de sus costillas y cerró la carne en su lugar. 22 Y de la costilla que el SEÑOR Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer y la trajo al hombre. 23 Entonces dijo el hombre: “Ahora, esta es hueso de mis huesos y carne de mi carne. Esta será llamada ‘mujer’, porque fue tomada del hombre”. 24 Por tanto, el hombre dejará a su padre y a su madre, y se unirá a su mujer, y serán una sola carne. 25 Estaban ambos desnudos, el hombre y su mujer, y no se avergonzaban."


El libro de Génesis está lleno de enseñanzas profundas para aplicarlas en nuestra vida espiritual y también familiar.
En el capítulo 2 podemos mirar el resumen de la explicación de la creación. También, en el capítulo 2 podemos ver con más detalle cómo fue la creación del hombre y la mujer.
Primero, Dios instruyó y capacitó al hombre para que administre el Edén. Después de estar ocupado en esta labor, Dios le permite sentir la necesidad de un acompañante. Adán siente un profundo vacío en su ser y experimenta la soledad. Después Dios duerme al hombre y forma a un ser similar a él pero a la misma vez totalmente diferente. Un ser que iba a llenar y complementar la vida de Adán: la mujer.
Al final de este capítulo vemos un verso impactante donde está la clave de un matrimonio fuerte, estable y próspero, y es entender que uno tiene que tomar la posición de unirse a su pareja como un solo ser.
Hoy en día muchas parejas duran poco porque piensan en ellos mismos; no piensan en complementarse. Olvidan que el matrimonio es un trabajo continuo para aprender a complementarse. Es hacer un balance de dar y recibir continuamente, pero primero hay que dar para después recibir.
No es una transición fácil porque han crecido y se han criado de manera diferente con su respectiva familia y están acostumbrada a ella, y cuando se casan tiene que pasar por esa transición de salir de su familia para formar una nueva.
Ejercitemos este principio bíblico para que nuestros hogares sean hogares fuertes y poder darles un buen ejemplo a nuestros hijos en el futuro cuando se casen. Que entiendan que el amor hacia los padres siempre estará ahí en el corazón pero el compromiso, la obligación y la responsabilidad principal es ser complemento de su pareja y formar una nueva familia.
Teniendo en cuenta esto, el núcleo familiar será más sólido, en vez de ser frágil porque la pareja no aprendió a unirse como un solo ser.
No importa si han pasado 2, 8 o 13 años, piensa siempre que cada año que pasa que mantienen la unidad en el hogar, entre ustedes se descubrirán nuevas cosas, se superan grandes obstáculos, y la unión se hace más fuerte. Sé paciente, y ten la mente abierta para aprender a amar incondicionalmente a tu pareja y a soportar todas las dificultades con paciencia, respeto y tolerancia, Comunicarse en confianza para evitar malentendidos. Que esa unión de dos mundos forman uno nuevo, más grande y maravilloso.

Escudriñemos a más profundidad esta Escritura utilizando la técnica de estudio llamada PERSONALÍZALO, usando tu nombre personaliza el verso 24:
Por tanto, yo, (tu nombre), dejaré a mi padre y a mi madre, y me uniré a mi (esposo o esposa) y seremos una sola carne.

Después termina con oración este devocional con la técnica oral o usando este mismo verso, pidiéndole al Señor que este verso se haga realidad en tu vida.

Genesis 2: Become One.

I will read the last 10 verses of this chapter but you must read the entire chapter.

Genesis 2:15-25 NLT:
The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.
So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man.
“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’”
This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.


The book of Genesis is full of profound teachings to apply to our spiritual and family lives.
In chapter 2 we can look at the summary of the explanation of creation. Also, in chapter 2 we can see in more detail how the creation of man and woman took place.
First, God instructed and trained the man to manage Eden. After being busy in this work, God allows him to feel the need of a companion. Adam feels a deep emptiness in his being and experiences loneliness. Then God sleeps the man and forms a being similar to him but at the same time totally different. A being that was to fill and complement Adam's life: the woman.
At the end of this chapter we see a shocking verse where the key to a strong, stable and prosperous marriage is to understand that one has to take the position of joining their partner as one being.
Nowadays many couples don't last long because they think about themselves; they don't think about complementing each other. They forget that marriage is a continuous work to learn to complement each other. It is making a balance of continually giving and receiving, but first you have to give and then receive.
It's not an easy transition because they've grown and raised differently with their respective families and they're used to it, and when they get married they have to go through that transition of leaving their family to start a new one.
Let's exercise this biblical principle so that our homes are strong homes and be able to set a good example for our children in the future when they get married. That they understand that love for parents will always be there in the heart but the commitment, obligation and main responsibility is to be a complement to their partner and form a new family.
Taking this into account, the family nucleus will be more solid, instead of being fragile because the couple has not learned to unite as a single being.
It doesn't matter if 2, 8 or 13 years have passed, always think that with each passing year that you maintain unity at home, new things will be discovered between you, big obstacles wiil be overcome, and the union will become stronger. Be patient and have an open mind to learn to love your partner unconditionally and to bear all difficulties with patience, respect and tolerance. Communicate in confidence to avoid misunderstandings. That this union of two worlds forms a new, bigger and more wonderful one.
