Story Transcript:

Lt: Niekas nenorėjo būti Gytį tą rytą, kai visas kaimas buvo paverstas maišatu dėl ištrūkusių vištų.
En: No one wanted to be Gytis that morning when the whole village was turned upside down due to escaped chickens.

Lt: Nors saulė dar tik kilo, nedidelėje kaimo aikštėje vyko tikras sumaištis.
En: Even though the sun had just risen, a real commotion was taking place in the small village square.

Lt: Gytis buvo ramus ir mąslus kaimo vaikinas.
En: Gytis was a calm and thoughtful village boy.

Lt: Tą dieną jam teko prižiūrėti močiutės vištas.
En: That day, he had to look after his grandma's chickens.

Lt: Deja, viskas pasikeitė, kai jis netyčia atidarė tvartelio duris per plačiai.

En: People hurried out of their homes to see what had happened.

En: Rūta, the village teacher, dizzy from the unexpected chaos in the village square, took charge and decided to lead the chicken-catching operation.

Lt: Gytis, pasijutęs atsakingas, sunkiai dirbo, kad sutaupyti bent šiek tiek savo gerbimo.
En: Feeling responsible, Gytis worked hard to at least save some of his dignity.

Lt: Apsisukęs iš būdo sparną švyturys, jis galiausiai pagavo paskutinę vištą, o kaimiečiai susirinko aplodisuoti.
En: Twisting and turning like a lighthouse beacon, he finally caught the last chicken, and the villagers gathered to cheer.

Lt: Eglė švelniai nustūmė Gytį ir tarė: "Visi šiandien esame šiek tiek vištos, bet kartu mes esame kaimas.
En: Eglė gently nudged Gytis and said, "We all feel a bit like chickens today, but together we are the village."

Lt: Ir kai visi besmegeniai paplojo greta kepsninės, kur giros dūmai virto vakaro džiaugsmais, močiutė į jį žvelgė su meile.
En: And as everyone chatted next to the barbecue, where the smoke turned into the evening's joy, his grandma looked at him with love.

Lt: Gytis tuo metu suprato, kad geriausi nuotykiai kartais būna netikėčiausi, ir kartais klaidos gali tapti brangiausiomis pamokomis.
