Story Transcript:

He: וו.
En: hook.

He: ירושלים היא עיר כשרה ויפה.
En: Jerusalem is a kosher and beautiful city.

He: יש לה הרבה בתים וחנויות יפות.
En: It has many beautiful houses and shops.

He: באחד הבתים בירושלים גרים אברהם, מרים ויעל.
En: Avraham, Miriam and Yael live in one of the houses in Jerusalem.

He: אברהם ומרים הם דוברי עברית כשפת אם.
En: Avraham and Miriam are native Hebrew speakers.

He: כל יום, ילדים ומבוגרים עוברים ליד הבית שלהם.
En: Every day, children and adults pass by their house.

He: יעל מתמודדת עם בעיה קטנה.
En: Yael faces a small problem.

He: היא מנסה לקרוא שלט בעברית אבל היא ממשיכה להגות את המילים בצורה לא נכונה.
En: She tries to read a sign in Hebrew but she keeps mispronouncing the words.

He: מיל יש "סופרמרקט" על השלט.
En: Mill has "Supermarket" on the sign.

He: יעל מנסה לקרוא את המילים אבל היא אומצאה בצחוק בכל פעם.
En: Yael tries to read the words, but she is laughed at every time.

He: אברהם ומרים מנסים לעזור לה.
En: Avraham and Miriam try to help her.

He: הם מצייתים לסבל הגורם להיחלש ולצחוק עם הם ניסיונות ההגייה המצחיקים שלה.
En: They obey the suffering that causes weakness and laugh with them at her funny pronunciation attempts.

He: בפעם הפעם, יעל אומצאה שהמילים קשות לה.
En: This time, Yael found that words were difficult for her.

En: She does not understand the many Hebrew letters.

En: Avraham explains to her about gold colors on the sign and Miriam explains to her about chocolate options in the supermarket.

En: But Yael doesn't stop laughing at the way she pronounces the words.

En: She discovers that even when she is led and tries to get help, she finds that the words are sexually similar.

He: אברהם ומרים מצחקים שוב.
En: Avraham and Miriam laugh again.

En: Avraham and Miriam understand - there is no reason to be considered more than them, Yael needs their help.

En: They explain how to listen carefully, see the fine print and measure the words together.

En: Yael wants to read more.

En: Avraham and Miriam are happy to hear this and decide to guide her with a new method to share with the friends.

He: שבועות נוספים עוברים ויעל ערה.
En: More weeks pass and Yael is awake.

En: She copes much better with the Hebrew words.

En: She can read the signs on the street and understand the books in school.

En: Avraham and Miriam are very happy about it and they don't laugh at him anymore.
