Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Gary started his retail career working for a local TV and appliance store at the age of 16. In his 35+ years in retail, he moved all over the United States, living in six states and fifteen different homes.
In that time, Gary worked as a salesman on the floor to a senior executive of two fortune 500 companies: CompUSA and Borders Books. About seven years ago, Gary's wife’s parents became sick, and it became clear he and his wife needed to take care of them. Along with their two children, the family moved to Frisco, Texas, after living in Los Angeles for several years, to care for them. This move to the Dallas area sparked a lot of change in the Bale family. As most retailers have consolidated and gone out of business over the years, Gary was looking for my next career move. After moving to six different states and living in fifteen homes, he had seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to real estate. While Gary is still relatively new to the real estate industry, it was a natural progression from his 35+-year retail career. Gary enjoys absolutely every bit of working in real estate, from the home buying to the selling progress. Working with clients each day has been a joy for Gary, who especially enjoys getting to know clients and learning what they are searching for in their perfect new home, next investment property, or simply, the next chapter of their lives. He is just as excited for his clients when they find their new perfect home, as they are. Gary's extensive career in retail has equipped me with the communication and negotiation skills as well as the meticulousness and honesty necessary to be a successful realtor. As for the Bale family, Gary and his wife will be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary this September. They have two children, a son, and a daughter. Both are in the process of earning graduate degrees and Gary and his wife could not be prouder of them! While Gary's family will tell you his only hobby is working, he does enjoy taking our 5-year-old English Cream Retriever for more walks than any dog could possibly need, as well as family ski trips. Gary can confidentially say he has taught every member of my family how to ski and now they all are almost better than him!
