I believed in a lot of myths about acceptance. One of them was ‘When you accept something that isn’t right, it means you don’t care enough to change it’. Other one was ‘People who accept easily aren’t ambitious’ And because I was ambitious and I did not want to become this person, I experienced a lot of resistance in my life.

After I met my coach, I was able to challenge these beliefs and see how these were causing resentment and discontentment for me. And changing those beliefs has given me power. It has brought peace, calm and more excitement in my life.

In this episode I talk about three types of acceptance - acceptance of ourselves, of others and situations. I share my journey of how I went on to give myself, my husband and my life more acceptance and how that has elevated my experience.
