He is an Intensive Care doctor and humble man heralding from the outskirts of Shepparton where we discuss his unique tale of representing Canada internationally in Field Hockey including the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio. We discuss what it takes to become an elite athlete and how he represented a country that is literally on the other side of the world. Finally, Matt discusses his personal encounter with post-concussion syndrome and the need for a paradigm shift to our approach to concussions.
