Testing needs a diversity of subjects. Different cattle populations would provide a variety of subjects. If you have a monoculture, that is bad science. Further, having a population bred for study does not yield organic results.

Assuming a cop or a vet is credible. Is a logical fallacy, of the apeal to authority. “Authority” cop asserts that X is true. Therefore, X is true. You can see why this is a bs argument, even though it may sound convincing. First, it assumes that Authority cop knows what they're talking about. It also assumes that Authority cop has a non-biased opinion. And finally, this statement assumes that the Authority cop is telling the truth or is not simply mistaken. Question: Do cops lie?

Being a veteran, the credibility of cops and vets is overrated.
