In case you haven't figured it out yet....your parents were probably struggling with their emotions and had a crappy mindset. And then you come along as an infant and got put into their whirlwind. As children, we learn from the adults around us. We trust them and believe that they have life and adulting all figured out and will take care of us. We also take on their beliefs, patterns, and characteristics. Then as we get to be adults we realize that our parents didn't know it all; were doing their "best"; and having their own internal battles. Amie and Bev have a conversation about this and:
