Another gem, this interview with the legendary Urdu poet Moin Ahsan Jazbi (1912-2005) was recorded in 1995 by Pervaiz Alam in Aligarh. At the age of 17 in 1929, he wrote “Fitrat ek muflis kī naẓar men̲” and by 1940 Jazbi became a household name with his ghazal:
