🎙️ EP36|What If Heaven’s Greatest Treasure Isn’t Gold? When we hear the word “treasure,” we think of gold, silver, pearls, and precious stones. But Scripture repeatedly uses these same images to describe the Kingdom of Heaven. Why? Is heaven literally about material wealth? Or are these treasures pointing to something deeper? If truth is a treasure that cannot decay, could a life transformed by that truth also become precious in God’s eyes? The High Priest carried twelve precious stones on his breastpiece. Later, Revelation describes the foundations of the New Jerusalem with precious stones again. Why does this imagery keep returning? Jesus also told the Parable of the Talents. Some multiplied what they were given. Another buried it. So what does it really mean to invest what God has entrusted to you? In this episode, we explore the biblical symbolism of gold, silver, pearls, and precious stones. Perhaps heaven’s greatest treasure is not something buried beneath the earth— but eternal truth and lives transformed by it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you’d like to explore these ideas more deeply, you’re welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group.
