Andrea shares that part of her most recent chapter in her Becoming Story includes being diagnosed with a rare, autoimmune disorder, Ankylosing Spondylitis. She shares some of the struggles she has had in adapting to the changes and to the limitations the disorder has created in her life. Andrea also shares her poem titled “Dear Vaccine”. She says that it is the first time she has read it to share publicly. In the poem, she expresses her feelings about the diagnosis and how it relates to the COVID vaccine.
