Shepard Smith is broadcast journalist best known for his 23-year career at Fox News Channel, which he joined at its 1996 inception and where he served as chief anchor and managing editor of the breaking news division.
He returned to the news desk this past fall with NBC News and CNBC, where he serves as chief general news anchor and hosts The News with Shepard Smith. @thenewsoncnbc
We could not be more thrilled that he agreed to sit down with us to discuss changes in news reporting and the effects that opinion presented as news has on our society. Ultimately we answer this question: “How do we as consumers balance news and opinion journalism to develop a more accurate worldview?”
