Tapia was eventually let go for refusing to lie to parents about the gender identity of their students and refusing to allow boys into girls locker room spaces. Her behavior went beyond holding religious beliefs. This is making no mention of the social media posts that were openly racist. If she can't stop being anti-trans at work (in a public school) because of her beliefs, what do we make of her racist ones?
