Dealing with death, funerals, and wakes are difficult aspects of life that we all must face at some point. Whether it's a family member, a close friend, or a family friend, it cannot be avoided. I recently attended a wake for a family friend, and it served as a reminder that love and community are ever-present and can appear in the most unexpected places. Join me on this journey as I reflect on my history with this family and how they are impacting my life right now.
