 Lerina Subbiah is the Sales and Marketing Director of SUBB10 Technologies, a Specialist ICT company providing IT and Telecoms solutions to SME, LARGE and Public sectors. The company is based in sunny Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
Lerina has been in the Telecommunication industry for 18 years and is very passionate about the ICT industry and Technology in general. She is highly Skilled in Business Negotiation, Sales, Communication, customer relations management and converged products.
Lerina has completed numerous skills and management courses including a Marketing and Advertising Diploma, Vodacom Brand Management at the Vega School of Marketing and of recent a distinction pass in Technology & Enterprise Management from Northwest University Business School.
She is a strong sales professional that has been awarded numerous awards in her field.
Her career started with Autopage in 2001 in Mobile Retail Sales then moving to HUGE Telecoms as an account manager providing sales in the least cost routing division before settling with Telecoms Giant Vodacom in the Enterprise Business Unit. After just 8 months in her role, she was awarded the Managing Executive Award for outstanding performance. In April 2009 and 2016 she was awarded the “Award of Excellence” for conquering new Business Frontiers.
Her outstanding achievements and dedication to the Vodacom Team saw her travel extensively to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and Morocco.
Following 10 years at Vodacom, she decided to venture out into entrepreneurship and forge her own path joining SUBB10 Technologies as Sales and Marketing Director, heading up the Telecoms Division.
Lerina stands on several Women Business Forums and chambers including KZNWIBB, SCBWN and Durban Chamber of Commerce. She is passionate about mentoring young females in the ICT Sector and developing Female Leadership in Technology.
