In the spirit of leadership, who better to have a conversation with than a descendant of one of America’s founding fathers on our ancestral history and unlearning racism? Author, global news anchor, & TV personality, Shannon LaNier, the sixth-great-grandson of President Thomas Jefferson and his slave, Sally Hemmings, recently made headlines when he was part of a project which recreated portraits of some of history's most famous figures by photographing their direct descendants. LaNier, shares his heartfelt devotion to encouraging others to not judge a book by its cover and brilliant reflection on multiculturalism in the United States.
