Ro: În inima României, într-un sat încărcat de tradiții și obiceiuri străvechi, locuiau trei prieteni pe nume Andrei, Elena și Nicoleta.
En: In the heart of Romania, in a village steeped in ancient traditions and customs, lived three friends named Andrei, Elena, and Nicoleta.

Ro: Satul era înconjurat de câmpuri verzi, cu case înflorate și un centru unde bătrânii adesea povesteau despre eroii de odinioară.
En: The village was surrounded by green fields, with flower-adorned houses and a center where the elders often told stories about the heroes of old.

Ro: Viața aici curgea lin, acompaniată de râsetele oamenilor și cântecele păsărilor.
En: Life here flowed smoothly, accompanied by the laughter of the people and the songs of the birds.

Ro: Andrei era un tânăr vioi și plin de energie, iar nimic nu-i plăcea mai mult decât să danseze.
En: Andrei was a lively and energetic young man, and nothing pleased him more than to dance.

Ro: Elena, pe de altă parte, era cu ochii ca alunele și un zâmbet larg, care îi lumina chipul.
En: Elena, on the other hand, had eyes like almonds and a wide smile that lit up her face.

Ro: Se apropia ziua mare a satului, când toți locuitorii își dădeau întâlnire la sărbătoarea anuală, plină de veselie și dansuri populare.
En: The big day of the village was approaching, when all the residents gathered for the annual celebration, full of joy and folk dances.

Ro: În ziua aceea, soarele strălucea mândru pe cer, iar Andrei era hotărât să o facă pe Elena să-l privească altfel.
En: On that day, the sun shone proudly in the sky, and Andrei was determined to make Elena look at him differently.

Ro: Își îmbrăcase costumul tradițional, cu cămașă albă și pantaloni împodobiți cu motive populare.
En: He dressed in traditional costume, with a white shirt and trousers adorned with folk motifs.

Ro: Când a început muzica, inima i-a bătut mai repede, iar pasii de dans parcă îi zburau dedesubt.
En: When the music started, his heart beat faster, and his dance steps seemed to fly beneath him.

Ro: Începu să danseze cu o energie debordantă, izbind din tălpile puternic pe pământ și încrucișându-și brațele cu mândrie.
En: He began to dance with boundless energy, stomping his feet forcefully on the ground and crossing his arms proudly.

Ro: Elena îl urmărea cu ochii larg deschiși, vădit impresionată.
En: Elena watched him with wide eyes, clearly impressed.

Ro: În apropiere, Nicoleta râdea și aplauda, încurajându-l pe Andrei cu strigăte de încurajare.
En: Nearby, Nicoleta laughed and applauded, encouraging Andrei with shouts of encouragement.

Ro: Totul mergea bine până când, din neatenție, un găinuș curios se întredeschisese pe lângă acțiunea de dans.
En: Everything was going well until, carelessly, a curious little hen had sneaked in near the dancing action.

Ro: În goana sa, Andrei nu-l văzu și, fără să vrea, se împiedică de micul spectator nelămurit.
En: In his haste, Andrei did not see it and, unintentionally, tripped over the curious little spectator.

Ro: Zburând prin aer cu brațele desfăcute, ateriză direct într-o grămadă uriașă de fân.
En: Flying through the air with his arms outstretched, he landed directly in a huge pile of hay.

Ro: Câțiva din spectatori au izbucnit în hohote de râs, pe când alții îl priveau cu griji, să vadă dacă nu cumva s-a accidentat.
En: Some of the spectators burst into laughter, while others looked at him with concern, to see if he might have been injured.

Ro: Elena și Nicoleta au alergat la el și l-au ridicat.
En: Elena and Nicoleta ran to him and lifted him up.

Ro: Ținându-și adânc râsul, Andrei, deși era acoperit cu paie și orgoliul i-a luat o lovitură mică, a zâmbit și a spus: "Păi, măcar sunt bine ascuns în caz că vine iarna!"
En: Holding back their laughter, Andrei, although covered in straw and with his pride a little bruised, smiled and said, "Well, at least I'm well hidden in case winter comes!"

Ro: Astfel, cele trei prietene au izbucnit în râs împreună, iar Elena, ajutându-l să se scuture de fân, a bolborosit printre râsete: "Andrei, ești cel mai curajos dansator pe care l-am văzut vreodată."
En: Thus, the three friends burst into laughter together, and Elena, helping him shake off the hay, murmured amidst laughter: "Andrei, you are the bravest dancer I have ever seen."

Ro: Adevăratul dans al lui Andrei nu a fost cel care a trebuit să impresioneze pe Elena.
En: The true dance of Andrei was not the one that had to impress Elena.

Ro: A fost felul său de a râde de sine și de a-i face pe ceilalți să se simtă bine în prezența lui.
En: It was his way of laughing at himself and making others feel good in his presence.

Ro: Și în așa fel, Andrei a câștigat ceva mult mai prețios decât admirația pentru talentul său de dansator; a câștigat inima Elenei.
En: And in this way, Andrei won something much more valuable than admiration for his dancing talent; he won Elena's heart.

Ro: Și de atunci înainte, ori de câte ori satul își sărbătorea tradițiile, Andrei, Elena și Nicoleta erau primele colo la dans, râs și bucurie.
En: And from then on, whenever the village celebrated its traditions, Andrei, Elena, and Nicoleta were the first to join in the dance, laughter, and joy.

Ro: Andrei nu mai era doar văzut ca simplu dansator, ci ca un prieten de nădejde și un adevărat eroi al satului, cu sau fără pene de găină în păr.
En: Andrei was no longer seen just as a simple dancer, but as a reliable friend and a true hero of the village, with or without chicken feathers in his hair.
