Story Transcript:

Sr: U malom gradu u Srbiji, bilo je jedno mesto gde su svi rado dolazili da popiju kafu i razmene najnovije priče iz komšiluka.
En: In a small town in Serbia, there was a place where everyone liked to come to have coffee and exchange the latest neighborhood news.

Sr: To mesto se zvalo kafana "Kod veselog violiniste".
En: That place was called the "Cheerful Violinist" tavern.

Sr: Jovan je tog dana došao u kafanu sa namerom da pročita novine i uživa u mirisu sveže mlevene kafe.
En: One day, Jovan came to the tavern intending to read the newspaper and enjoy the scent of freshly ground coffee.

Sr: Dok je prolazio kroz gužvu, nije primetio Mariju, devojku sa crvenim šalom koja je sedela za stolom pored prozora.
En: As he made his way through the crowd, he didn't notice Maria, a girl with a red scarf who was sitting at a table by the window.

Sr: Dok je Jovan naručivao svoj omiljeni espreso, Marija je čitala knjigu, potpuno zanesena avanturama glavnih junaka.
En: While Jovan ordered his favorite espresso, Maria was reading a book, completely engrossed in the adventures of the main characters.

Sr: Odjednom, Jovan se okliznuo na mokar pod i prosuo kafu pravo na Marijinu majicu.
En: Suddenly, Jovan slipped on the wet floor and spilled his coffee right on Maria's shirt.

Sr: "Moj Bože, jako mi je žao!
En: "Oh my God, I'm so sorry!"

Sr: " uzviknuo je Jovan dok je brže-bolje priskočio da pomogne Mariji.
En: exclaimed Jovan as he quickly rushed to help Maria.

Sr: Marija je bila iznenađena, ali nije mogla da se ne nasmeje zbog Jovanove smušene reakcije.
En: Maria was surprised, but she couldn't help but smile at Jovan's flustered reaction.

Sr: "Ništa, ništa, može se ovo oprati," rekla je, trudeći se da sakrije osmeh.
En: "It's okay, it can be washed," she said, trying to hide her smile.
