Star Trek Listed as Core Pillar by Skydance
USS Reliant Design Approved Upside Down for Wrath of Khan

Nora Reed reports on the latest Star Trek developments. Gates McFadden makes her comic writing debut with the upcoming summer 2027 series Star Trek: Crusher, set to bridge a 20-year gap in the character's timeline between Star Trek Nemesis and Star Trek Picard. In franchise news, Star Trek is identified as a core pillar for Skydance's future storytelling strategy alongside properties like Harry Potter and DC. Plus, a production anecdote reveals the USS Reliant was approved upside down for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and we note the passing of actor Mark Mortimer, known for Star Trek: Klingon Academy.
