Today’s Recipe:Scarecrow Dip:Ingredients:
- 6 pieces of thick bacon
- Onions
- Salt
- Butter
- 1/3 Greek yogurt
- 2/3 regular yogurt
- Peppers (yellow and green)
- Kale leaves
- Cucumbers
- Shredded carrots
- Tomatoes
- Olives
- Oreo cookies
- Candy eyes
Instructions:
- Fry the 6 pieces of thick bacon until dark and crispy. Set aside.
- Caramelize onions in a cast-iron skillet with a little salt and butter until they turn from light brown to dark brown.
- Place the bacon and caramelized onions in a food processor and pulse until well blended.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine 1/3 of Greek yogurt with salt and pepper and 2/3 of regular yogurt. Mix thoroughly.
- Spread the yogurt mixture in a shallow pan.
- Decorate the dip with kale leaves, sliced green peppers, cucumbers, and shredded carrots to create a scarecrow face.
- Use olives to make the eyes and smile, and an Oreo cookie (without the icing) for the crow on the scarecrow's head.
- Serve with crackers or other desired dippers.
