 Today’s Recipes:Tower-to-Table TacosSweet Strawberry Taco:Ingredients:
  • Fresh strawberries (store-bought or homegrown)
  • 6-inch tortillas
  • Cream cheese
  • Yogurt
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Basil (optional for added flavor)
  • Butter (for browning tortillas)
Instructions:
  • Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into desired sizes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, yogurt, honey, and cinnamon. Add basil if desired.
  • Brown the tortillas in a skillet with butter until they have a slight crunch.
  • Spread the cream cheese and yogurt mixture onto the tortillas.
  • Add sliced strawberries on top.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with additional basil for extra flavor.
  • Fold the taco and enjoy the delicious sweet strawberry taco.
Savory Vegetable Taco:Ingredients:
  • Scrambled eggs (without cheese for lower fat content)
  • Fresh vegetables (peppers, kale, celery)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6-inch tortillas
  • Basil (optional for added flavor)
Instructions:
  • Scramble eggs in a pan with a bit of milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Layer tortillas with scrambled eggs and fresh vegetables (peppers, kale, celery).
  • Add a little bit of basil for additional flavor.
  • Fold the taco and enjoy the savory vegetable taco.
Note: You can always experiment with variations, such as adding blueberries or blackberries to the sweet taco or adjusting the seasoning according to personal preferences.
