Mike Sacks is a singularly gifted comedy writer, author of the indispensable humor tomes And Here’s the Kicker and Poking a Dead Frog. His tireless work ethnic eventually took him into the realm of audio book originals, including Stinker Lets Loose and Why Not #MeToo?!. His latest, Passable in Pink, is a satirical homage to the John Hughes films of the 80s, and boasts an A-list cast, including Adam Scott, Gillian Jacobs, Bobby Moynihan, and Bob Odenkirk.

Mike’s interview is a true gem, and we ping pong from Passable in Pink to his overmedicated childhood, why he receives constant gay fan mail intended for another man, his long-standing beef with Ferris Bueller, which The Breakfast Club character he identifies with most now that he’s in his 40s, stories from being a 17-year-old undergrad in New Orleans, and how the Baltimore Orioles factor into his OCD, just to scratch the surface. Mr. Sacks is a gem and a delight, so do yourself a favor, listen to the episode, and pre-order Passable in Pink on Audible by clicking the link. (If it's your first book, Audible will even give it to you for free.)

Mike Sacks runs both a fantastic Twitter account (@MichaelBSacks) and a hilarious Instagram (@MikeBSacks) that typically features the covers of insane books from his personal collection. They are absolutely worth your follow. Oh, and there's even a Passable in Pink: Official Motion Picture Soundtrack, featuring some downright incredible era-appropriate artists. Indulge!
