Two sets of twins, separated at birth, one of them running a circus. Rohit Shetty's Cirkus is the fifth Golmaal picture and, ultimately, Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. It gives Ranveer Singh a double role and very little to do with either half. The plot is complicated to the point of near-unintelligibility, and the mustaches are the only reliable way to tell the brothers apart.
The Doctor of Podcasting, Chris Stachiw, is joined by Heather Drain to talk Ranveer's charisma going to waste, why mistaken-identity comedy leaves them both cold, Gully Boy as the Ranveer film to watch instead, and what remakes do to a comedy. Then there's the small matter of Netflix pulling the film the same day they recorded.
