Merle is a veteran paranormal investigator based in Langley, British Columbia, with more than two decades of experience exploring ghosts, hauntings, and unexplained phenomena. Known simply as “MERLE” to listeners of Spaced Out Radio, he has been a regular contributor since 2015 on the popular monthly segment Ghosts of the Great White North. Combining historical research, field investigation, and years of firsthand experiences, Merle brings a grounded and entertaining approach to the paranormal while sharing some of the strangest encounters from haunted locations across Canada and the United States.

Away from the microphone, Merle leads The Paranormal Road Trippers, traveling in search of some of North America's most fascinating haunted locations, including historic sites throughout British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. His investigations have also taken him to locations such as the Mackay Mansion in Virginia City and St. Ignatius Hospital in Washington. Merle has developed an unusual collection of reportedly haunted objects, each carrying its own history and mysterious stories. Through Spaced Out Radio, podcasts, YouTube, and his field investigations, Merle continues his search for evidence of the afterlife while bringing passion, curiosity, humour, and respect to the paranormal community.
