We wouldn’t be true curmudgeons if we didn’t have things to hate, and this week, we’re diving all in with the characters from pop culture that make our blood boil! Sharmane and Wade bring their signature mix of humor, rant, and reflection. Along the way, Sharmane shares the big news about getting into law school (and ranks the most racist cities they’ve lived in), while Wade recounts his wild Jazz Fest adventures. It’s part nerd rage, part therapy session, and 100% Curmudgeons for the Culture.Meet the Hosts: Mark Lynch, aka Old Man Wade, is a longtime comic book head and pop culture writer for Bam Smack Pow, and host of The Old Man Wade Show. He’s got thoughts. Lots of them. Sharmane Fury, aka The X-Mane, is a Black-Japanese, British-American, award-winning podcaster, cosplayer, cat mom, and widow who brings a thoughtful perspective on identity, fandoms, and everything in between. Host of Militantly Mixed, BLERDcoMIXed, and Matcha, Masala, & Murder.
