Pt: Num dia quente de final de verão, a luz do sol atravessava as grandes janelas do escritório moderno em Lisboa.
En: On a hot late summer day, the sunlight streamed through the large windows of the modern office in Lisboa.

Pt: As sombras das telhas dos prédios dançavam oscilantes lá fora.
En: The shadows of the building's tiles danced wavering outside.

Pt: Era uma manhã como outra qualquer, mas para Lúcia, a pequena kitchenette escondia um grande desafio: uma nova máquina de café que parecia um enigma.
