Today’s topic is Billy Joel. He is a singer, pianist, and songwriter. I love his music. Joel is commonly nicknamed the “Piano Man.” after his signature 1973 song of the same name. Joel has had a successful music career as a solo artist throughout the 1970s and 80s.
My favorite song by Billy Joel is Tell Her About it (singing).
The song Tell Her About is written and performed by Billy Joel released as a single from his album An Innocent Man (1983). The song hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week on September 24, 1983, replacing "Maniac" by Michael Sembello. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA for US sales of over 500,000 copies.
There was also a video for the song. I loved the way Billy Joel was performing on the stage as the crowd moved from side to side.
