First off, two Jefferson Parish, LA teachers, Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Respess, charged for having a three-way with a 16 year-old student. Worst part is that so far it is reported Shelley Dufrense had cut a deal that will keep her out of jail and she will NOT have to register as a sex-offender. Now if this was a male teacher, could he cut a similar deal? In New Jersey, 3rd grade teacher, Marilyn Zuniga, is suspended after she had her students write "get well" letters to convicted Philadelphia police killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. Cannot even see how she felt this was a good thing for them to do.
