Story Transcript:

Sv: Det var en hektisk lördag på IKEA och Elsa, som var på jakt efter en ny säng, var lättad när hon äntligen hittade den.
En: It was a busy Saturday at IKEA and Elsa, who was looking for a new bed, was relieved when she finally found it.

Sv: Hon räknade ut vilka kartonger hon behövde och skyndade sig fram till kassan för att betala.
En: She worked out which boxes she needed and hurried to the till to pay.

Sv: När hon väl var hemma med kartongerna insåg hon att instruktionerna saknades.
En: Once she got home with the boxes, she realized the instructions were missing.

Sv: Elsa suckade, men tänkte att det inte var så svårt att montera en säng - det var ju bara träbitar och skruvar.
En: Elsa sighed, but thought that it wasn't that difficult to assemble a bed - it was just pieces of wood and screws.

Sv: Efter några timmar av frustrerande försök att sätta ihop sängen gav Elsa upp och gick till köket för en kopp te.
En: After a few hours of frustratingly trying to put the bed together, Elsa gave up and went to the kitchen for a cup of tea.

Sv: Men då såg hon att köksbordet också saknade instruktioner!
En: But then she saw that the kitchen table also lacked instructions!

Sv: Elsa slog sig ner vid bordet och började fundera.
En: Elsa sat down at the table and began to think.

Sv: Hon bestämde sig för att använda den kunskap hon hade från att ha sett möbler monteras tidigare.
En: She decided to use the knowledge she had from watching furniture being assembled in the past.

Sv: Hon plockade ihop skruvar, muttrar och träbitar och började montera.
En: She collected screws, nuts and pieces of wood and began to assemble.

Sv: Person som svarade ombedde henne att komma tillbaka till varuhuset och att en Expedit skulle hjälpa henne.
En: Person who answered asked her to come back to the store and for an Expedit to assist her.

Sv: Tillbaka på IKEA fick Elsa träffa en expedit som förklarade hur bordet skulle monteras.
En: Back at IKEA, Elsa got to meet a clerk who explained how the table should be assembled.

Sv: Med hjälp av instruktionerna visade expediten varje steg, och snart var bordet monterat.
En: Using the instructions, the clerk showed each step, and soon the table was assembled.

Sv: Elsa var mycket tacksam och tänkte att hon borde ha bett om hjälp från början.
En: Elsa was very grateful and thought she should have asked for help in the first place.

Sv: På vägen ut från varuhuset funderade Elsa över vilken lektion hon skulle ta med sig från den här erfarenheten.
En: On the way out of the department store, Elsa pondered what lesson she would take with her from this experience.

Sv: Hon kom fram till att det här var en påminnelse om att be om hjälp när man behöver det.
En: She concluded that this was a reminder to ask for help when you need it.

Sv: Med en ny säng och ett nytt bord på plats tittade Elsa runt och såg att hon kunde njuta av sitt nya hem igen.
En: With a new bed and a new table in place, Elsa looked around and saw that she could enjoy her new home again.
