April Fools: Talking Fish Trick!

Story Transcript:
Nb: Lars og Ingrid jobbet på samme kontor, og Lars var alltid en som likte å spøke og tulle med de andre på jobben. En dag, på 1. april, kom Lars til kontoret og fortalte Ingrid at han hadde funnet en snakkende fisk!
En: Lars and Ingrid worked in the same office, and Lars was always someone who liked to joke and joke with the others at work. One day, on 1 April, Lars came to the office and told Ingrid that he had found a talking fish!

Nb: Ingrid lo og sa: "Du tuller, Lars". Men Lars svarte: "Nei, jeg tuller ikke! Kom og se selv!"
En: Ingrid laughed and said: "You're joking, Lars". But Lars replied: "No, I'm not kidding! Come and see for yourself!"

Nb: Lars og Ingrid gikk inn på Lars sitt kontor, og Lars pekte på en fiskbolle på bordet. "Se", sa Lars, "det er min snakkende fisk".
En: Lars and Ingrid entered Lars' office, and Lars pointed to a fish bowl on the table. "Look", said Lars, "that's my talking fish"

Nb: "Jeg kan ikke høre noe, Lars", sa Ingrid.
En: Ingrid looked at the fish, but she couldn't hear any sound from it. "I can't hear anything, Lars", said Ingrid.

Nb: "Vent da", sa Lars, og han tok fram en stemmeopptaker fra skuffen. Han la stemmeopptakeren på bordet og slo på opptaksknappen. Så tapet han stemmeopptakeren til siden av fiskbollen og sa: "Hei, fisk, kan du si hei til Ingrid?"
En: "Wait then", said Lars, and he took out a voice recorder from the drawer. He put the voice recorder on the table and hit the record button. Then he taped the voice recorder to the side of the fishbowl and said, "Hey, fish, can you say hi to Ingrid?"

Nb: Og så skjedde det noe utrolig! Fisken svarte! "Hei, Ingrid", sa fisken gjennom stemmeopptakeren. Ingrid ble helt forbløffet! "Hvordan kan denne fisken snakke?!" spurte Ingrid.
En: And then something incredible happened! The fish answered! "Hello, Ingrid", said the fish through the voice recorder. Ingrid was completely amazed! "How can this fish talk?!" asked Ingrid.

Nb: Lars lo og sa: "Det er 1. april, Ingrid. Jeg kjøpte den snakkende fisken og tapet stemmeopptakeren til siden av fisken. Du trodde virkelig at det var ekte!" Ingrid lo med og sa: "Du fikk meg virkelig der, Lars".
En: Lars laughed and said, "It's April 1st, Ingrid. I bought the talking fish and taped the voice recorder to the side of the fish. You really thought it was real!" Ingrid laughed along and said: "You really got me there, Lars".

Nb: Så fortsatte arbeidsdagen som normalt, men Ingrid kunne ikke slutte å tenke på hvordan Lars hadde lurt henne.
En: Then the working day continued as normal, but Ingrid could not stop thinking about how Lars had tricked her.
