Conrad Rocks The Verse of the Day: Acts 2, 4
This episode discusses the gift of tongues spoken of in Acts chapter 2, verse 4. This gift was a powerful spiritual experience for the disciples, as they were given the supernatural ability to speak in language they did not know before. We are reminded that speaking in tongues is a gift that comes from being filled with the Spirit, and so we are encouraged to allow the Spirit to take control. We also learn that speaking in tongues can be an authentic foreign language which transcends language barriers and draws people to Christ.
