This week I am joined by "Accidentally" #MixedTikTok content creator Kendee aka @YungKendee. She actually shares my same ethnic mix, with two biracial parents (one Black and White & one Japanese and White). We chat about how she accidentally became Tik Tok famous by just posting one video in response to the myriad of things that hit her comments section based on how she looks and what people perceive of her ethnic identity.  IG: @YungKendee Tik Tok: @YungKendee Comment Section FAQ video: Mixed is not a race * * * MIXED RACE BOOK RECOMMENDATION Mostly White, a Novel by Alison Hart Order your copy today: https://www.torreyhouse.org/mostly-white * * * Take 10% discount on all purchases of masks at https://MasksByMane.com using promo code: FIRST100 in acknowledgment of the #First100DaysMaskChallenge * * * Also, if you would like to visit my virtual comic book store, head on over to Gulf Coast Cosmos for all your comic book needs.  * * * You can continue the conversation on our private Facebook group after you listen to this episode at http://facebook.com/groups/militantlymixed * * * Produced and Edited by Sharmane Fury  Music by: David Bogan, the One - https://www.dbtheone.com/ * * * Connect with us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or send me a voice memo over email at Sharmane@militantlymixed.com. * * * Militantly Mixed is a fan-sponsored podcast, if you are enjoying the show please consider sponsoring us on Patreon or Paypal today! Thank you.
