Story Transcript:

He: השמש כבר התמטטה מאחורי ההרים של ירושלים, איור משוגע של צהובים, אורנג'ים ורוסים מנתזים את המרחב.
En: The sun had already disappeared behind the mountains of Jerusalem, leaving a crazy landscape of yellows, oranges, and pinks scattering the space.

He: מרחף הירח מעל קו האופק, אך התמונה המרשימה היא רק גילוי לב חציי לחידת הערב.
En: The moon hung above the horizon, but the impressive sight was just a halfway solution to the evening puzzle.

He: נמצאים פה, בקפה קטנטן על גבעת הצופים, שני בני אדם - יעל ויצחק, ואיש נוסף, אברהם, העומד מול השניים עם עינייו מורחקות.
En: Here, at a small café on a hilltop, stood two people - Yael and Yitzhak, and another man, Avraham, who stood before them with distant eyes.

He: אברהם, מגיח מתל אביב, כן - אותו מקום שהזמן נמצף כמו מים מתוך בית חריץ, נראה בהלה.
En: Avraham, coming from Tel Aviv, yes - the same place where time evaporates like water from a leaky faucet, seemed anxious.

En: He glanced at the biting red wine and the central protagonist of the story - the espresso, but not just any espresso.

He: "אני בטוח שביקשתי אספרסו כפול", אמר אברהם בתדהמה אם כי קלות המבטא שלו המעלה משהו אחר לפני הבריסטה.
En: "I'm sure I ordered a double espresso," Avraham said in surprise, although his accent suggested something else to the barista.
