In this live episode of Podcast UFO, I’m joined by Ron Janix for an in-depth and wide-ranging discussion on the current state of UFO disclosure, the upcoming Contact in the Desert conference, and the legacy of the late Nick Pope. We reflect on Pope’s impact as a steady and respected voice in the field, sharing personal stories and why his presence will be deeply missed within the community. Ron also breaks down what makes Contact in the Desert one of the most important UFO gatherings in the world—from major speakers and film premieres to the unique experience of connecting directly with researchers, filmmakers, and attendees. We also explore the ongoing conversation around UFO disclosure, including the recent failure to release the much-anticipated 46 government videos, and what that may signal about transparency moving forward. Along the way, we discuss consciousness, the unknown nature of UFO phenomena, and why the deeper you go into this subject, the more complex—and mysterious—it becomes. This conversation also touches on personal experiences, the evolution of interest in UFOs, and broader questions about reality itself. From possible interdimensional explanations to skepticism about official disclosure, this episode captures both the excitement and uncertainty surrounding one of the most compelling mysteries of our time.
