Johnny Mac praises Rory Scovel’s new Netflix special as fantastic and slots it at #2 for the year, behind Chris Fleming’s HBO “Live at the Palace” at #1, also recommending viewers avoid Vulture’s spoiler review. He runs through his top nine specials so far: Ryan Hamilton’s Netflix “Then It Hit Me,” Trevor Noah’s Netflix “Joy,” Katt Williams’ Netflix special, Pete Holmes’ 800 Pound Gorilla special, Derek Streep’s “Nostalgic,” Ramy Youssef’s “In Love,” and Jackie Kashian’s “After Kashian,” with others in a lower tier to discuss on the full audio podcast. He reads Tom Segura’s comments on recording separate “Your Mom’s House” episodes amid a long, private, emotionally difficult divorce from Christina P. He also asks who Peter Brady’s “pork chops and applesauce” impression was of.
