The series follows the adventures of a now child-aged Thomas and the other engines in his age group, as they learn many life lessons and solve problems while going around on their daily lives doing jobs with help from each other and the other residents and visitors of the island.
Rick Suvalle began writing the character of Bruno who happens to have Autism. He was the Producer and Story Editor for Mattel at the time. He currently is the executive producer for Dreamworks and has a brand new series coming out in the spring.
Craig Carlisle is currently the Executive Story Editor/Head Writer for Thomas & Friends at Mattel. He is an Emmy-award winning and Humanitas Prize Finalist writer, story editor/head writer and voice director.
