Sorry, hit send accidentally. Anyway, as I was thinking about this, I thought about Jesus also telling Simmon Peter. I say to you; you will denigh me three times before the rooster crows tomorrow. Now Simmon Peter just asked Jesus to let him go with him, Jesus replied you can not go where I go, Simmon Peter replied, I will go with you any where Lord, I'm ready / or willing to die for you. I believe Simmon Peter ment it from his spirit, he truly did. But as the night passed and Jesus was being accused of all kinds of things, Simmon Peters mind , and flesh consumed him. I think it was out of fear, maybe he denied Him so he could be closer to Jesus, to see what's going on, maybe he felt he could help Jesus, or protec him , or grab him and get him away from the city. We may never now truly why Petter did this. Except it was Gods way. Maybe it was to prove a point, no matter how much we love God, we still have to fight with the flesh. I can't imagine being a deicipal of Jesus. Think about thisJesus washed their feet to teach and understand. Serve one another, serve your fellow man/ women. We are no better than they are. In those days it was a slave , or servant whom was sent in to wash one's feet. Can you image the feet, dirty with mud and sutte, probably some cow and chicken, poo, walk-in for days in sandels. They problem smelled horrible. But our Lord and Savour washed their feet to teach them a lesson, to show them.
