He’s both a stand-up comedian with a reputation for wowing crowds AND a talented thespian who studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company of London. Thomas Miles is best known as “Nephew Tommy” - co-host of the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show - which puts him in front of a live radio audience of more than 8 million listeners daily.

Tommy is a Houston native who returns as host of OWN’s popular Friday night dating series Ready to Love with 13 new episodes filmed entirely in his home town of Houston. The all-new cast explores the real-life dating interactions of sexy, successful and grown Black men and women who are each looking for lasting love and an authentic relationship. Ready to Love’s most recent cycle helped make OWN #1 on Friday nights for African American viewers. The series is co-produced by Hollywood hit-maker Will Packer.

Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles has built a career that encompasses radio, television, film and more. He provides a key role as co-host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show - perhaps best known for his prank calls, and lighting it up with his own cast of colorful characters. Miles also has a loyal following as a stand-up comedian. For three years, he served as the exclusive opening act on the Luther Vandross tour and recorded his one hour special at the famed Motor City Casino in Detroit. He continues to keep the crowds laughing as he tours nationally to sold out crowds across the country.

He’s a talented thespian who studied theatre at Texas A&M University, has worked in over a dozen stage plays and, studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company of London. His numerous film credits include N-Secure, The Heart Specialist, Baggage Claim, Think Like A Man and a memorable cameo in Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Halloween. Miles is also host of the Black College Quiz Show. The purpose of the Black College Quiz game show series is to encourage an appreciation of African-American Heritage by all people in an entertaining quiz show format.
