Work from home is not as easy as being in the comfort of your home. It doesn't; have all the amenities and facilities in the office settings plus the fact that you are working alone physically.

It is not easy working from home especially if your job requires you to interact with your co-employees and customers. It is difficult talking virtually and it is also difficult if you have no one in your home to talk to. Nobody to burst your bubble. It is mentally challenging. This article is very helpful to the companies. While the employees takes on a new shift, they too, must change their company culture and adapt to the new normal.

Listening to this episode has been very informative and helpful. It is really inevitable that sometimes work related stuff can cause a burnout especially now that most people are working from home and it can cause an issue to one's mental health. This podcast was indeed helpful in addressing burnout depressions. Anxiety and fatigue increased for lots of individual especially in this COVID season. So much was at stake, some companies folded up and most businesses moved to working from home. This can really cause depression. At times, you find comfort going to work changing the topics, trying to be productive and avoiding home troubles but now you have to stay at home, work from home in the midst of this depression and thoughts that can have detrimental effects on mental health. Leaders can play a role to help team members by identifying the root causes of issues that can affect mental health and making a strategic shift to a virtual work culture. Great piece of information thanks for sharing!

I agree that working from home somehow contributes to depression and anxiety. I can also related to one of the 14 problems stated above which is the “Zoom fatigue” , that meeting and talking your colleagues in-person is better than doing it virtually, because you can't express your self more, and your thoughts seem limited which causes stress. So leaders should do ways to prevent or resolve the problems, by implementing strategic shift.

When the Covid 19 pandemic started, I started thinking a lot about it. After some time, I started suffering from different health issues. On the other hand we all started working from home. For this reason we were socially distanced. And I found myself stressed and tired. And its getting worse day by day. This article really helped me to stop thinking of COVID as an emergency situation to be handled via operational tactics. Thanks for sharing such an informative and timely content.
