Kylie found solace growing up by writing poetry and considered it her therapy. At 12, she learned how to play the guitar and started putting her songs to music. She went on to major in music at Berklee, received the Jack Maher Composition Scholarship and also won the Berklee Songwriting Competition. Kylie appeared on Season 11 of “The Voice” and co-wrote five songs for the Season 10 winner, Alisan Porter.
