A lot of us really underestimate the dangers of the new COVID strains due to our cognitive biases, but worrying doesn't solve anything! I strongly agree that we should change our approach drastically to adapt to the new reality.
I'm a person who worried a lot especially when it comes to health. As you know, health costs a lot and indeed it is wealth. I don't know if I have enough medical insurance to cover the cost if ever I got sick but I know it is something to worry about. Anyway, you were on point in saying that as long as we follow the health and safety protocols - wearing a mask, washing our hands, and among other - there's really nothing to worry about.
The new covid strain is already affecting a lot of businesses, countries already imposed travel restrictions and so on, this podcast helps me prepare myself to act accordingly in dealing with this pandemic.

Sometimes we tend to take the effects of pandemic lightly but this podcast will remind us that the pandemic has made us extra careful and cautious when it comes to health issues which can be seen on news or even on social media.
New COVID strain is danger and some people taking it seriously and some are not. I think everyone should work on himself to improve immunity.
The new COVID strains is very alarming, and indeed we need extra precautions and secure ourselves and the family as well. We also need to change our plans and examine the blindspot that could hinder us in being prepared and ready for this strain.

It may feel unreal, but that’s simply our cognitive biases telling us that, just like they did early in the pandemic. Don’t be caught off guard, again, by ignoring this warning. Thanks for sharing this episode!
