Michael Scarafile grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Porter-Gaud High School in 1991. He graduated from the College of Charleston, with a degree in English, in 1995 and then went on to the South Carolina School of Law and graduated in 1998. Scarafile clerked for the Honorable A. Victor Rawl in the S.C. Circuit Court before joining the McNair Law Firm where he spent six and a half years as a litigation associate.
