Another round of scammers are threatening to turn off your power.

BTU's Meagan Brown says the new scam to residential and commercial customers demands immediate payment of $1,700 dollars.

The scammers tell customers they need to upgrade their meters because they are not compatible.

Brown says there have been no orders.

And BTU is among utilities that does not call and demand payments.

Anyone with questions can call the customer service number of their power provider.

However, you can read as many reviews about one of the companies as possible at https://dte-energy.pissedconsumer.com/review.html . This will assist you in forming your own judgment on the subject and determining whether or not you should visit them.
