Franciele Maftum is a psychologist with a Masters degree in neuroscience! That is right, we went all “Big Bang Theory” on this episode! Franciele talked to us about life traps, how we are trained to be afraid to make mistakes and how we focus on the results not the process. She shared unexpected signs of anxiety, burnout and depression, things I honestly didn’t recognize as red flags, like my endless to do list! She gave us tools to mitigate it, like scheduling time to worry, so you don’t worry. Yes, unorthodox but clever. We recorded this episode before the COVID-19 pandemic, but today, when I was re-listening to it, I used many of the tools to re-center and re-organize on these times of uncertainty. Stay safe, stay home, wash your hands and enjoy the podcast!
