There is more information about the end of a two hour manhunt Sunday afternoon north of the Northgate District.

The occupant of a home on Nagle Street in Bryan, who was trying to walk home but was blocked by police who were searching for a fugitive, was eventually told to go straight home.

The resident, according to the College Station police arrest report, noticed insulation on the floor underneath the attic access...and a door that was always shut was open.

That led the resident back to police, and CSPD's SWAT team going to the home.

CSPD previously reported 29 year old Jamarious Davis of Brenham jumped out of the second floor attic.

After Davis went to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, he was taken to jail.

Davis faces multiple charges related to the manhunt, a family violence assault case from April of last year, and making a false police report last August.

Davis is jailed on bonds totaling $297,000 dollars.

He is also suspected, but not under arrest, for the aggravated assault of a pre-teen Sunday during the midnight hour at the College Station motel six. That victim was flown to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
