Ahead of the general election, an election debate jointly hosted by both Waterford and Dungarvan & West Waterford Chambers will take place on Tuesday, 4th February at the Theatre Royal in Waterford at 7pm. The event will see many of the candidates debate the key election topics and take questions from audience members.

Each candidate will be afforded the opportunity to outline their party policy on a variety of business issues and the audience will be given the chance to ask the candidates questions through the event facilitator former Waterford Chamber President Paul Nolan.

Paul spoke to WLR's Eoghan Dalton ahead of the debate.
