Episode LXIV (64): WATERFRONT CAPITAL OF TEXAS - Tonight, we pull off a last minute pivot and instead of the finale of the special Singer/Songwriter/Storyteller Showcase series we started in September as our originally scheduled guest had a conflict come up due to the Astros game 5 tonight, we are really excited to have US Army Veteran and Professional International Extreme Watersports Competitor Jordan Davlin joining us live in studio for a conversation on a number of exciting topics. Davlin, who is a true gamer coming into studio on almost no notice, is owner of JetSurf Houston, a Certified Jet Surf Trainer and a competitor on the MotoSurf WorldCup international circuit. Although the Galactic Coast Power Hour was among the first media outlets to introduce this new (to America and Texas), cutting edge watersport to the local public, Davlin has achieved a lot of attention in the Houston TV market in recent months as word about extreme but economical and environmentally friendly watersport is getting out. Davlin has trained riders from all over (even Europe) to get up on a JetSurf board in local waters and we really look forward to talking to him about that, future races and events locally and a lot more on the local water sports scene. We might even touch on the largest port to port race in North America, the 33rd Annual Harvest Moon Regatta, which is locally organized and just started today in the Gulf along the shores of Galveston Island. We might also touch on a new exciting watersports related media venture Davling is helping spearhead.
