2000 Plus presents “Alone,” originally broadcast November 15, 1950, on the Mutual Broadcasting System. This adult science-fiction anthology drama was written by Judith Bublick and David Bublick.

In the year 2060, nuclear physicist John Rhodes leaves a psychiatric hospital and returns to Nuclear City—only to find its laboratories and avenues mysteriously deserted. With a frightened woman named Volta as his only apparent ally, Rhodes struggles to reach the outside world and determine whether the terrifying silence is real. Ralph Bell stars as Rhodes, with Joan Shea as Volta.

Old Time Sci-Fi Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
